Fear that could possibly lead to a painful regret that can last a lifetime. Simplified, the question's answer is to take the chance.
Fear makes us as human beings become irrational. Twisting reality into alternate realities which can become anything but reality. This ideology is extremely synonymous with the word, "Hope". So the question turns into Hope or Fear?
Hoping everything works out but Fearing what will happen if that Hope is pursued.
Fearing losing connection with loved ones, Fearing failure of achieving Hope, Fearing losing everything you have.
Most times it feels easier to sit back and not do anything. Because you don't want to deal with conflict or inconveniences that may come along. I'm not writing this to give you, the reader, an answer but to maybe help me find mine. And if you are going through something similar, I hope you find your answer as well.
Life is just a give-and-take. If you want something, you'll have to give something up for it. Materialistically, there are the fortunate where money comes more easily than it goes.
Spiritually everyone is in a disarray, regardless of wealth or fortune.
I have been fortunate enough to take advantage of opportunities presented to me in the past. As a result of those, I am now in the unique position of traveling, practicing academics with my University.
I have reached financial independence, I bought my own car, and I am set to graduate college and earn my Bachelor's degree within the next 2 years. Alhamdulillah (All Praise be to Allah)
Fear makes us irrational, Despite all my achievements, Fearing one main goal overtakes the joy I feel I should have with what I have achieved.
