I told myself for about 3 years I wanted to do computer science when I would finally reach college. I was in 8th grade at the time, so luckily, I still had lots of time to decide. It wasn't, however, until 11th grade when I found out I was interested in politics. Trump had been elected the year before and that sprouted the seed of justice inside me that I wanted to bring into the world.

I could have completely skipped ahead of both my junior and senior year at high school and would have started towards a Computer Science major. Thankfully the stars did not align and I was gifted some more time to think for myself. I wanted to do Political Science.

Even though I had found the right track of what I wanted to do in college, I was too sure about where I wanted to go. I wanted to go to Loyola University, because I knew that they had the best law program for me. So I rushed into applying and paying the commitment deposit before I had found out how expensive it really was, and I would not be able to afford it. I did not have a backup plan, I was so sure I would spend whatever to go there. And it wasn't until a few weeks ago, I applied to UNO sporadically. freaking out bout the financial situation I had put myself in. My summer classes haywired today, but I guess it was for the best.

This way I have some time to be patient and wait. To think for a few months and get everything back in order.

Always pray for the best, upon yourself and others, but never get too complacent with your own plan. Go the safe route! x
